Rockin' Roll Up™ magnetic music staff prints are magnetic sheets printed with five sets of music staff lines and covered with a clear dry erase writing surface. Another OptiMA® innovation to help bring music on the go to any classroom or location where there is a magnetic chalkboard or whiteboard. 45.25" Tall roll up magnetic sheets available in three widths to fit comfortably onto standard 4' wide, 6' and 8' wide for long boards. This magnetic keyboard and grand staff works great. It is of good quality and erases as easy or easier than a white board. Obviously it only sticks to a metal lined whiteboard so if you have anything else, you're out of luck.

These magnets work wonderfully on plain classroom whiteboards! The magnet is large, strong, a little heavy, but not problematically thick. The portability may come in handy if I ever need to change classrooms or we have a school renovation- insurance that I will always have a staff whiteboard!

I have been looking around for a long time to get decent staves on our whiteboards at college. These magnetic ones are great. I can also re locate them to our moveable whiteboard. If only I knew about them a long time ago.

"I moved classrooms and went from a chalkboard to a white board, quickly discovering that the tool that holds 5 markers to draw a music staff was a HUGE pain in the neck! When I came across this, I ordered it almost immediately and have been thrilled with it! It's a perfect size and I can even move it out of the way if I ever need more plain board space. My students think it's amazing that it's a magnet! :-)

This product is AWESOME! It sticks very nicely to the whiteboard, and can be clearly seen from the back of the room. The included cloth is great for keeping the staff nice and clean. I was moved to a new classroom this year and given a whiteboard...and drawing the music staves was now a VERY time consuming process (remove 5 caps, draw staff, replace 5 caps...grrrr)! This was a wonderful solution to my problem and looks like it will last a long time!

We can but it would be extremely heavy and difficult to adhere to your board. I would suggest getting two of the 6' long units and mounting them side by side. This would be easier to install and give you more flexibility if you wanted to use half of your board at any time as a plain whiteboard.Â

Hi Lana, Using your example, if you placed this item on a non-magnetic receptive table, neodymium magnets are strong enough that they will still stick. Examples of neodymium magnets would be something like the following links. Simply put, neodymium will always work because they are stronger. I attached an image of a similar music magnet (ready for shipping) with pushpin magnets that attract just fine, even through the packaging.Â
Alternatively, when you hang the music magnet on a whiteboard or other metal magnetic receptive surface, any magnet will work, even thin magnets like the following link. Please let us know if we can provide more information.

No issues sticking to a magnetic surface. The entire back is magnetic so it distributes the weight evenly.Â
